At BrainFocus, we work to enhance the efficacy of epilepsy surgery by improving pre-surgical diagnosis. Despite being the primary option for millions of people with drug-resistant epilepsy, slow, rudimentary diagnostics limit surgery's accessibility and success. Founded by experts with 15+ years of research from UPC and UPF, BrainFocus creates AI-based software to assist neurologists in patient triage and achieve more accurate diagnoses. Our first product, BrainFocus iEEG, automates the localization of epileptic focus using intracranial EEG and MRI, which paves our way to improve outcomes and quality of life for people suffering from drug-resistant epilepsy worldwide.
