How is AI transforming our physical world? Which cutting-edge business models will emerge from the AI revolution? How is regulation impacting AI development?
All these questions and more will be answered at 4YFN25, the home of big ideas, which returns between 3-6 March at MWC25 Barcelona. Secure your place to attend now!
Last year’s event brought together 930 exhibitors and 1,000 investors, venture capitalists (VCs) and corporate VCs with over €50 billion worth of funds to invest, and we cannot wait to bring you our packed agenda of keynotes, pitching competitions, networking events and fireside chats.
4YFN25 is all about AI, digging into the revolutionary impact of this exciting new technology through our AI XL theme. The Banco Sabadell stage will welcome an exciting host of visionary speakers, including founders of the world’s fastest growing AI startups and AI visionaries transforming the world’s largest technology companies; speakers will represent the likes of Amazon, Applied Intuition, Barcelona Super Computing Centre, CEA, Google, Palantir Technologies, Perplexity AI, Salesforce and more.
In a 4YFN preview session recently hosted by Mobile World Live, the French Atomic Energy Commission’s (CEA) Head of the AI and Interactive Systems Division, Gregorio Ameyugo, said: “AI, despite some of the emotion and turbulence we see right now, is extending the capacity of people and what we can do as humans, and we’re using it to level up, rather than down. But it’s important to remember that AI is just power, it's what you do with it that matters. At 4YFN25, we're going to see a lot of people doing good with AI, with their hearts in the right place – and that's the most important consideration.”
Experience the 4YFN Programmes
In parallel to our AI XL agenda, 4YFN25 will feature dedicated Programmes that will bring together founders, CEOs, investors and other leaders, for an agenda of keynotes, intimate fireside chats, 1:1 mentoring opportunities and networking events.
The Programmes will spotlight breakthrough innovations unfolding across seven industries and spaces:
- Digital Health: Attendees will discover the digital startups using emerging technologies to improve patient care, whether it’s breaking down gender inequalities, transforming hospital operations or enabling the latest breakthroughs in fields such as neuroelectronics.
- Green Tech: As governments and corporations race to meet sustainability targets, this Programme will welcome CEOs and founders from the climate tech space, to share best practices for balancing ROI and decarbonisation and explore how industries as diverse as energy, mobility, food and fashion are leveraging AI to accelerate their climate journeys.
- Fintech: This Programme will spotlight the profound impact lifestyles and preferences of Gen Z and digitally native consumers have had on the banking industry. Topics to be explored include the industry’s readiness to deploy GenAI, a look at how blockchain could revolutionise payments, and the innovative new services emerging thanks to the API economy.
- Founders: Platforming serial entrepreneurs who have been there before, to share best practices and learnings on securing funding, building teams and achieving the right product-market fit. The Founders Programme will also give entrepreneurs the opportunity to attend networking and cocktail events, speed dating sessions with investors and mentoring workshops.
- Investors: Exploring the latest trends shaping the investment landscape and empowering investors to make the right connections, while also offering unique opportunities to go 1-to-1 with the world’s most influential corporate VCs.
- University & Spin-Off Hub: Bringing together scientific excellence and innovation, this Programme will shine a light on the technological breakthroughs born out of universities and research centres, which are now unlocking progress in the business world.
- Corporate Innovators: Introducing the tech transformation teams rolling out AI solutions in the world’s largest corporations, and the digital startups helping them along the way. The agenda will cover best practices for building a culture of innovation, as well as the role of ‘business prototyping’ to help de-risk decisions, foster creativity and achieve faster go-to-market success.
Crowning the world’s best digital startup
All the excitement and energy seen on stage and across the show floor culminates in the 4YFN Awards, honouring the most outstanding startup at the event. Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech’s CEO and winner of the 4YFN24 Award, Marta Pascual Estarellas, said: “Winning 4YFN24 was a defining moment for both Qilimanjaro and for quantum computing in Spain as a whole. To be recognised among such an impressive and competitive group of start-ups, meant we received validation not only for our vision, but also for the impact of quantum computing on the future of the industry. We strongly believe in what we're building, but receiving such an award shows us that the world sees us in the same way.”
During an on-stage pitching competition on day 3 of 4YFN25, this year’s finalists – Bankuish, Horus ML, Qflow, Ramon.Space and Rockfish Data – will battle it out for their chance to win a €20,000 cash prize. 4YFN gives a platform to propel world-changing ideas by shining a light on the digital startups shaking up industries and giving rise to the next generation of unicorns.
