At Vertex VC, in addition to conducting other successful investments, Ehud led the fund's investment in Waze's first round of financing and its participation in subsequent rounds. Ehud served on Waze's BOD from its establishment and until its recent acquisition by Google for over $1 Billion. Prior to Vertex, Ehud co-founded and was Chairman & CEO of Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies, a mass-market device specialist for mobile content distribution, where he led the business from concept to commercial success, IPO in London, and eventual acquisition.
Previously, he served as COO and CFO of Telegate, a telecommunications company, where he played a major role in turning the company into a success story; as a result, the company was acquired for over $400 million by Terayon (TERN). Ehud also served as a private equity investor and an investment banker in New York and Tel Aviv, and has served on the BOD of other several high-tech companies. Ehud holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (with honors) from the Technion, and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
